They say if you walk through the pillars during low tide it will bring you luck. I guess there's no harm in trying.
I love making wishes so when I saw people were doing this I had to give it a go. After my bajillionth try I finally got my 5 yen stuck on a barnacle. (crossing my fingers)
The not-so lucky wishes...got washed off from the tide or fate or destiny or maybe just the tide.
We were lucky to find this peek-a-boo shot. Possibly the last cherry blossom tree blooming on the island.
